Micorsoft’s New Ad Campaign

Here is the long version from Microsoft’s latest campaign featuring Jerry Seinfeld.

As a consumer piece I think this will do them good. They really don’t need any help selling to business. One thing they have working for them in comparison to Apple is market share and the fact that software companies don’t have to pay them to write for their platform.
I’ve always said that if Apple had 90% of the market share they would have been in way more trouble with anti-trust than Microsoft.
Don’t get me wrong I have no strong preference other than the game I like to play only work on Windows. I know you can emulate any OS on any other OS, but who wants to do that just to play a game?

Economy

The reason for the economic problems we’re facing is that the people of America and the businesses in America think its ok to live on credit. If we let businesses fail then other businesses can come in and create more robust competition.

If you make a bad decision you reap the benefits. No one consumer or business should be bailed out by the tax payers.

Both sides, Obama and McCain both want to regulate. Obama wants to regulate b/f hand, McCain wants to pander to the companies if they get in trouble. The system will work, if no one interferes.
